If you head down Staff Road in the Ambala Cantt area, you will find us tucked away among the old trees and the quiet streets of the military zone. It is a very different atmosphere here compared to the main city. Everything feels a bit more orderly because of the surroundings. The school building is older, with high ceilings and those thick walls that keep things relatively cool even when it’s baking outside. We have a lot of kids from families who move around a lot, so we see new faces quite often. The staff has seen it all, from big events to the quietest rainy days when half the students can’t make it in. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or work in the Cantt. The playground is large, and you can often hear the distant sounds of drills or sirens from the base. Our desks are a bit worn down, and the paint might be peeling in a couple of corners, but it feels like home to us. We just focus on the curriculum and making sure the bells ring at the right time. There’s a sense of history in these halls that you don’t get in newer buildings. We just keep things running as they have been for years, focusing on the basics of a school day without making a big fuss about it.
