Our place is at number 96 in the HSIIDC Industrial Estate over in Ambala Cantt. Being in Haryana, we see all kinds of weather, from the freezing winters to the really hot and humid summers. The industrial estate is a big area, and there are all kinds of workshops and factories around us. We’ve been at this address for quite a few years now. It’s an engineering setup, so there’s always the sound of tools and machinery running in the background. The floor is concrete and we’ve got shelves full of parts and tools that have been sitting there for ages. It’s not a corporate office; it’s a place where things actually get built and fixed by hand. We have a small office section for the paperwork, but it’s mostly just a desk with a lot of files and old catalogs on it. The workers here are local guys who know their way around an engine or a lathe quite well. We don't have any big meetings or fancy slogans. We just look at what needs to be done that day and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, and we just have to wait it out or use the generator for a bit. It’s just part of the life here in the industrial area. People in Ambala know the HSIIDC area well, so finding us isn't usually a problem for our regulars. It’s just a solid, basic engineering shop where we do our best each day.
