Hub To Education

We are based at House Number 2889 in Sector 15, Panchkula. Our place is very close to Bhawan Vidyalya, so it is easy to find. Since it’s a house, it doesn’t look like a typical school or office from the outside. We have converted some of the rooms into study areas where we can sit quietly. There is a small garden out front that we try to keep neat, though the weeds grow fast during the rainy season. Many of our students also come from Chandigarh since it’s just a short drive or bus ride away. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and sometimes whatever is cooking in the kitchen at the back of the house. We have a few wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. The chairs are a mix of plastic ones and some older cushioned ones that we moved in. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here, not stiff or formal at all. We often sit together at the main table to go over different subjects. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s pretty safe and calm for the kids who come here after school hours. We keep a big jug of water and some glasses near the entryway for anyone who gets thirsty. Sometimes the doorbell rings when we are right in the middle of a lesson, and we have to pause for a second. It’s a simple setup.
