Hill Road is a busy street and we’ve been at 3749 for quite some time. The building is older, but it holds up well. We do electronics stuff, mainly focusing on the bits and pieces that go into larger machines. The workbenches are cluttered with soldering irons and small components that you can barely see without a magnifying glass. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly organized into neat little boxes. Things are where they are because that’s where they were last used. We have a small team of people who actually know how these circuits work. Most of us have been here for years. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive chairs. We’d rather have good tools. The windows look out onto the street and you can see people walking by all day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have some old fans that hum while we work. It’s a steady pace. We don’t rush things because electronics need patience. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone hunched over a board with a multimeter. We don’t do big speeches or have a glossy brochure. We just fix what’s broken and build what’s needed. It is a simple life on Hill Road, and that suits us just fine. We just want to do the work and go home.
