Atulchauhan

I’m based out of a small village in Sadhaura, which is in the Ambala district of Haryana. My name is Atulchauhan, and I’ve lived here my whole life. The address is pretty simple because everyone in the village knows where everyone else lives. It’s a quiet life compared to the big cities, and I prefer it that way. We have a small office attached to our house where I handle all the business stuff. It’s got a solid roof and a good desk, which is all I really need. Sometimes the cows from the neighboring farm wander onto the road, but that’s just part of living in Sadhaura. I don’t have a website or a big advertising budget. Most of the people I work with are from nearby towns or other villages in Ambala. We do a lot of face-to-face talking over tea. It’s a slower way of doing business, but it feels more real. My family helps out sometimes if there’s a lot of paperwork to go through, but mostly it’s just me. I’ve been doing this for several years now and I’ve learned a lot along the way. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather gets bad and the roads turn to mud, but we manage to get things done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense approach to working in rural India. No fancy stuff, just what is necessary.
