The office is tucked away in Gobind Nagar, which is a fairly busy part of town. We spend our time here at 15-B managing the cement orders and making sure the deliveries are on track. Mr I S Dang has been here for years, and the place has a real lived-in feel to it. It’s not like those shiny glass buildings you see in the big cities. We have simple furniture and the walls are covered with calendars and maps of Ambala Cantt. We like being in Gobind Nagar because it’s close to everything we need. The morning starts with tea and a look at the ledger. 133201 is where we operate from, and we know the local streets well. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from Ambala Cantt coming through, but we don't mind it much. We are just a small team working for Ambuja Cement Ltd, trying to keep our customers happy without any fuss. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit at 15-B and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the door squeaks, but we never get around to fixing it. It’s a good, honest place to spend the day.
