Aggarwal Rice & General Mills

Our mill, Aggarwal Rice & General Mills, is located over at Plot No. 42 in the Phase-1 Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot with a lot of other businesses around, so there’s always something happening on the street. We do rice milling and some general milling too, so we stay pretty occupied throughout the year. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we keep the machines and the stacks of sacks. It’s usually pretty loud inside once we get everything going. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations or a polished front office because most of our time is spent on the floor anyway. You’ll mostly find us covered in a bit of chaff and checking the quality of the grain as it comes off the line. We work with the local harvest cycles, so some months are much crazier than others. During the peak season, we’re here late into the evening making sure the orders are filled and the trucks are loaded up. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy bags and keeping the equipment running smooth. We know the other folks in Phase-1, and it’s a good community of working people. We don’t use any big words or try to act like we’re more than we are. We just run the mill and try to do a decent job for the people who bring us their grain for processing.
