Swastik Mineral

If you find yourself at Plot No-118/612 in Kaushal Puri, you will see our place, Swastik Mineral. It is not a huge operation, just a steady one where we handle various types of minerals every day. The yard is usually full of piles of raw material waiting to be sorted or moved out to customers. We spend a lot of time on our feet, talking to the drivers and making sure the weights are right on the scales. Kaushal Puri is a bit of a crowded area, so getting the bigger trucks in and out takes a lot of patience and shouting. We have been operating from this plot for some time now, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the shovels hitting the piles. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most days I am covered in a fine layer of white or grey powder depending on what we are moving that morning. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just come to the gate, tell us what they are looking for, and we see if we have it in the back. Sometimes we run out of space and everything feels a bit cramped, but we manage to keep things moving. The weather makes a big difference here; when it rains, the ground gets muddy and everything slows down to a crawl. We just wait for it to dry and then get back to work.
