Running things at J K Minchem over at N. O Ga- 25 (A) in the M. I. A section keeps us pretty tired by the end of the week. This part of the industrial area is always busy with trucks and people moving stuff around. Our office is tucked away at Ga-25 (A), and it gets a bit loud with all the machinery nearby. We deal with minerals and chemicals, so there is always a bit of a smell in the air, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Most of the day is spent checking piles of paperwork and making sure the bags are stacked where they should be. It’s a lot of manual work and plain old logistics. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything. Just a gate and the name on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for it to come back. The tea stall down the road is where most of us end up during the break. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this spot for some time, and the neighbors all know us. It gets dusty in the summer, but we just sweep it out and keep going with the orders. There is always a truck arriving or leaving, and we just manage the flow of work as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it.
