Our place is at E-672 in the RIICO Industrial Area. It’s a standard industrial plot with a high fence and a big gate. RIICO is a massive area, so it takes a bit of time to navigate the blocks if you aren't used to it. Inside our unit, it’s all about the engineering side of things. We have several machines lined up, and they stay pretty busy throughout the shift. The floor is often covered in a bit of oil or metal scraps, but we sweep it up at the end of every day. We aren't really set up for visitors, though we do have a small area near the front for meetings. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. It gets very hot in the summer because of the machinery and the tin roof, so we have those big industrial exhausts going. The neighborhood is full of other engineering firms, so there’s always a hum of activity in the air. We get our raw materials delivered by truck, and sometimes the road gets blocked up. We just deal with it. It’s not a fancy office job; it’s hands-on work every day. We focus on getting the specs right and making sure the parts are ready on time.
