Sikarwar Welfare Foundation

We operate out of Panorama City in Tapookra, Alwar. Our office is actually in Jasmin C-201, which is Mahipal Singh’s flat. It’s a residential area, so it feels very much like a community effort. We started this welfare foundation because we wanted to support the people living in and around Tapookra. Panorama City is a big complex, and it’s a good base for us. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s just a flat where we sit down and figure out how to help with local issues. Whether it’s something to do with the neighborhood or helping someone with a personal problem, we try to be there. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people in the common areas of the building. It’s not a formal corporate environment at all. We might be wearing casual clothes and drinking tea while we work through our tasks. Some days are quiet, and other days the phone won't stop ringing. We just take things as they come. Being in Alwar gives us a good reach into the local towns nearby. We don't use any flashy language to describe what we do. We are just a group of people trying to be useful to our neighbors and the wider community.
