Mewat's Women & Chield

Mewat's Women & Chield is located in the village of Baroda Meo. We’re a small group of people who wanted to do something for the women and kids in our area. Our office is just a simple room in the village where we meet and talk. We don't have a big staff or any fancy equipment. Most of our work is just talking to families and trying to help them with whatever they need, like health or school stuff. It’s very informal. We don't have set hours sometimes because we’re often out in the village visiting people. Being in Vpo-baroda Meo means we are right in the middle of the community we serve. We don’t use any complicated language or have big goals that we can’t reach. We just take it one day at a time. If a mother needs help with her child, she knows she can come to us. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know everyone’s name. It’s not like a big city office where no one knows you. Here, everything is personal. We don't have much of a budget, so we mostly rely on each other. We’re just local folks trying to make things a little better for the next generation. It’s slow work, but it feels right. You won't find us in a big building, just look for us in the village.
