Relish Food Caterers is out on Sikar Road. Our actual spot is 20, Shri Ram Nagar. If you know the Jaipur area, you know Sikar Road is one of the main veins for traffic and transport. It's always busy with trucks and dust. Our location in Shri Ram Nagar is where we keep all our supplies and where the main cooking gets done. It’s a lot of space which we need because we have some very large tawas and kadhais. We aren't a corporate entity with a board of directors. It’s just me and a group of workers who have been together for a long time. We start our work when most people are still sleeping, especially if we have a lunch event to prepare for. The smell of spices is always hanging around the building. We don't have a polished sales pitch. Usually, people find us because they saw our name on a tent or heard about us from a relative. Getting the food from Sikar Road to the different venues across Jaipur can be a challenge with the traffic, so we spend a lot of time looking at watches and maps. It’s a messy, loud, and busy way to make a living, but we are used to it by now. We just keep doing our thing from our base here in Shri Ram Nagar and try to make sure the food arrives hot.
