Being in the Central Market right by the post office means there is never a quiet moment. Our shop, number 129, is right in the middle of all the Bhiwadi foot traffic. It’s a small space, really, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling most weeks. You learn to move around in tight spots when you work here long enough. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets really crowded with people coming from the tehsil office. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door and a lot of stock to move. Most of our morning is spent just opening up and moving things so people can actually walk inside. The fan makes a bit of a clicking noise but we haven't got around to fixing it yet because there's always something else more urgent to do. People stop by just to ask for directions sometimes since the post office is so close. We don't mind much. It’s just part of being in this part of town. Sometimes the heat in the market gets a bit much in the afternoons, so we just keep the door open and hope for a breeze. We do what we can with the space we have and try to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always look like it to someone walking in from the street.
