We are based out in Chopanki at J-974, over in the Guwalda area. It’s an industrial kind of place, so it isn't like being in the middle of a big city with fancy shops. There are a lot of factories and warehouses around here, which makes it a good place for a construction company to be. We spend a lot of time on the road because getting to different sites from here can take a while. The office is usually filled with the sound of trucks passing by outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us looking over drawings and checking the costs of materials. We’ve got a small team and everyone does a bit of everything. One day I might be checking on a foundation and the next I’m trying to fix a computer problem in the office. It’s not always easy work, especially when the Rajasthan sun is beating down on the site, but we’re used to it. We get to know the other business owners around Chopanki quite well. It’s a bit of a community of people who just want to get their work done and go home at the end of the day. We don’t do anything fancy, we just build what needs to be built and try to make sure it’s done right. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing a project go from a pile of dirt to a finished structure.
