Laxmi Tools & Components

We operate out of H-567 in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s a massive place, and one block looks pretty much like the next, so you really have to watch the numbers to find Laxmi Tools & Components. The air out here always has that smell of industrial production—oil, heated metal, and exhaust. It’s not exactly a scenic location, but it’s where the work happens. Inside the shop, things are pretty straightforward. We have our machines set up, and there’s a small area where we keep the finished components. We don’t spend much time on aesthetics. The floor is concrete, and the light comes from high windows that get dusty pretty fast. Most of our day is spent watching the gauges and making sure the output is consistent. It’s repetitive work, but it requires a lot of attention. We usually eat lunch together at a small table in the back. The talk is mostly about the work or what’s going on in the news. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and that throws the whole schedule off, but we’ve learned how to fix most things ourselves by now. It’s a quiet kind of life, even with the noise of the machines. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders ready on time. There aren't many surprises around here. We just come in, do the job, and head home once the shift is finished. It's a simple way to make a living.
