Kidzee Apna Ghar Shalimar

Our preschool is located inside the Apna Ghar Shalimar Colony. It’s a quiet residential area off Tizara Road here in Alwar. Being inside a colony means it feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. We have the 301001 pin code, and most of the children come from the houses right around us. The mornings are always a bit chaotic with parents dropping off their little ones. You see kids with their small backpacks and sometimes they are crying, but they usually settle down fast once they see the toys. The rooms are filled with drawings and colorful posters that the children made themselves. It’s not a perfectly tidy place because kids aren't tidy. There are always blocks on the floor or some spilled paint. We just clean it up and move on to the next activity. Alwar gets very hot in the summer months, so we make sure the kids stay inside when the sun is at its strongest. The staff here are mostly local women who have kids of their own. We don't have a corporate office or anything. It’s just this one building in the colony. We know all the parents by name. It’s a simple, honest life looking after the kids. We just focus on making sure they are safe and having a bit of fun while they are here. It's a nice little community and we enjoy being part of the neighborhood.
