Ashoka Gear

Ashoka Gear is located in the Phase-II Industrial Area at plot J-752. Being in an industrial zone means there is always the sound of machines humming and trucks idling nearby. We spend our days working on different types of gears and metal parts. The workshop floor is always a bit oily and there’s a distinct smell of cut metal in the air. We have a few big machines that take up most of the space, so we have to walk carefully around them. It's not a place for someone who likes a quiet office. Most of us here have been working with gears for years, so we know the sound a machine makes when it's not running right. We take our lunch breaks together in the small area near the back door where it’s a bit cooler. The industrial area can be a bit dusty and grey, but we like the pace of it. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer emails all day. Usually, if you want something, you just come by the gate or give us a ring on the landline. We focus on getting the gears cut correctly and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially when the power acts up. But we've got a good routine going here at J-752 and we just keep the production moving as best as we can.
