You can find Angira Engineering (P) Ltd. over at 30, Old Riico Industrial Area on the By Pass Road. Being in an industrial area means there is always the sound of machines and trucks in the background. It gets pretty hot in the workshop, especially during the summer months when the metal roofs soak up all that heat. We spend our time working with various engineering parts and fabrication. There’s usually a lot of scrap metal lying around in the corners and the smell of welding in the air. It’s hard work and your hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a polished reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually have to walk past the machines and find us in the back. The By Pass Road is always busy with big lorries moving goods, so it can be a bit loud when we leave the doors open for a breeze. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now and we’ve seen other shops come and go. We just keep doing what we know how to do, which is fixing and making things out of steel and iron. It’s not a clean job, but it’s what we are used to. We just take the orders as they come and try to get the metalwork right without too much fuss. It is noisy, but we are used to it.
