We are located over at The Essentia, specifically in flat CB 11 on the first floor of the Crimson Floors building. It’s more of an apartment-style office than a storefront. Akshay Riddhi Financial Services Imf Llp started because there was a need for someone to help with insurance and finance stuff in this part of town. Working out of a flat keeps things quiet, which is nice when you're trying to figure out complicated financial forms. We have a few desks set up and a lot of binders filled with client information. It isn't very flashy, but it gets the job done for us and the people who visit. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs to the first floor. We spend our mornings looking over different policies and seeing what fits. It's a lot of reading and making phone calls to different agencies. We try to keep a relaxed atmosphere, even though the work can be serious. Most of the people who come to see us live nearby or in the same complex. We know their names and their families, which makes the work feel more like a community service than just a business. Being in a residential area like Flat Number Cb 11, First Floor Crimson Floors, The Essentia means it’s peaceful, and we can actually hear ourselves think while we work on the accounts and the filings we have to do.
