Nemall Industry

Up in Sangamali, Shapur, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Nemall Industry is tucked away here, and we like it that way. It’s mostly fields and small houses around us, so the noise from our workshop stands out. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the equipment. Since we are a bit far out, we have to be self-reliant. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. The staff here are mostly locals from the village. They walk to work or come on their cycles. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come to Shapur and walk in. The office is just a small room with a calendar on the wall and a few chairs that have seen better days. We drink a lot of chai throughout the shift. It helps keep us going when the afternoon sun is beating down on the tin roof. We don't have any big slogans. We just focus on making things right the first time. Sometimes we talk about the crops or the local news while we work. It’s a small community and everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We take pride in just being a steady business that people can count on when they need something made or fixed. It isn't much, but it's our way of contributing to the area and keeping our families fed.
