Negi Paheri Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is run out of Mohasing, specifically at Kailash Arukh’s place in the Gegureadar area. We are a group of women farmers who decided it was time to have our own way of doing business. It isn't always easy for women in this field, so having this company helps us stay organized and strong. Our office is at Plot No-207/668 in Word No-06. It is a very local operation. We meet there to talk about our harvests, the seeds we are using, and how we are going to get everything to the market. There is usually a lot of noise and talking when we gather because there are many of us with different ideas. We don't have a professional manager from outside; we just do it ourselves. Kailash Arukh’s place is easy to find if you are in the Gegureadar part of Mohasing. We spend our days between the fields and this small office space. It’s a lot of hard work and we don't always get everything right the first time, but we keep going. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big company from the city. We are just women from the village trying to make a living from our land. We handle the grains and vegetables and whatever else we are growing that season. It’s a community effort through and through.
