Kumaon Holidays

Kumaon Holidays is located out toward Corbett National Park on the Nainital Road. Our office is in a spot where you can really feel the transition from the mountains to the jungle area. It is a bit of a drive from the main Nainital town, but that is where the action is for us. We focus a lot on the Kumaon region because that is what we know best after living here all our lives. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get our work done. We spend a lot of time on the phone with park officials and safari operators. The weather gets quite hot down here compared to the hills, so we usually have a fan going all day long. We have some maps on the wall and a few photos of the local scenery to show visitors. Most people who come to us are looking to explore the park or the surrounding forests. We have been doing this for a while and have seen the area change over the years. We stay busy during the months when the park is open to the public. It is a lot of coordination and making sure people have their permits in order. We don't use any fancy talk, just give people the facts about their trip. It is a good way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit dusty.
