Universal Saloon

Universal Saloon has been a part of Tagore Town for a long time. We are located at 16/A on Hashimpur Road here in Allahabad. The shop is a straightforward place where people come to get their hair cut or a shave. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, nothing too modern or over the top. It’s a place where the local guys come to sit and wait their turn. We’ve got the old fans going and there’s usually some chatter about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don’t do fancy styling or use expensive products. It is just a traditional saloon. Being on Hashimpur Road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. The address 16/A is easy to find if you know Tagore Town. We open up early and stay open until the evening most days. The place can get a bit crowded on weekends, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve kept the shop pretty much the same over the years. It feels familiar to the people who have been coming here for a long time. It’s just a small business run by people who know the trade. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the chairs filled and the clippers running. It’s a simple life here at the saloon in Allahabad, and we like it that way.
