Udit Engineers

We are located at Dubey Ka Parao, right on the Gt Road. It is a very busy stretch of road with trucks and buses zooming past all the time. Udit Engineers has been operating from this spot for a while now. The air is usually a bit dusty because of the traffic and the work we do here. We have a lot of heavy metal pieces and tools lying around the workshop. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that have been there for years. We usually have the big front shutter open so we can get some air and light inside. It gets pretty loud with the sound of metal hitting metal and the horns from the Gt Road. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs, just a small desk where we keep the ledger and some pens. We sit on stools mostly and talk about the work while the tea gets cold. It’s a straightforward kind of life. We deal with parts and machines and the people who need them fixed or made. There is no air conditioning, just a big industrial fan that moves the hot air around. We know most of the people who pass by this way. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it’s messy and noisy from start to finish. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the road don't even bother us anymore.
