Down at Plot 20, 21, and 22 in the Sai Leela Industrial Estate, you’ll find our shop. We are right behind the Udhna Bus Depo in Surat. Being in Gujarat, the industrial vibe is everywhere. We do engineering work, mostly involving metal and repairs. It’s a big space since we have three plots, but it fills up fast with projects. The sound of the bus depo is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a busy part of Udhna. We aren't some big corporate firm with people in suits. We are usually in greasy overalls, working on some engine part or a frame. The humidity in Surat can be tough, but the fans in the workshop help a bit. We've been here for a while now. Neighbors know us as the guys who can weld or fix most things. We don't spend money on marketing. People just find us or hear about us from someone else. It’s a simple way to run a business. We start early and stay until the job is done. Sometimes we stay late when a customer is in a hurry. It’s just how it goes in the engineering trade. We like being in the Sai Leela estate. It feels like home after all these years. We just keep our heads down and do the work, trying to make sure every weld and every bolt is where it belongs before the day ends.
