Singhal India is located right across from the old Laxmi Talkies on Goolar Road. If you know the area, you know that theater is a bit of a landmark. We’ve been in this spot for quite a bit, and the road has changed a lot over the years. It used to be quieter, but now there's always something moving outside. Our office isn't anything special to look at. There are some desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a lot of work to keep us occupied. Most days it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional horn from a truck passing by. Not much time is spent worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We’re more focused on getting the day’s tasks finished. It gets dusty being so close to the road, so we’re always wiping down the counters. Someone usually brings in snacks around four, which is the highlight for most of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the district, just one that stays put. It's funny how you get to know the regulars who walk past every morning. Having seen kids grow up and start their own jobs in the time we've been here at Singhal India makes the time feel like it has flown. It's just a local business doing what we do without making a big fuss about it. We’re here if anyone needs us.
