Shipra Hotel

Shipra Hotel is located in Aligarh, right on Sir Syed Nagar in the Civil Line area. Our specific address is H/No.4/706-A-Darussalam. It’s a local place where people can stay when they are visiting the city. We’ve been around for a good bit, and we know many of the regulars who come through. The hotel isn't one of those massive five-star places you see in the big cities. It's more of a homey, practical spot. We have rooms that we try to keep clean and comfortable for everyone. Being in Civil Line means we are in a pretty central part of Aligarh. There are always students and visitors around because of the university and everything else happening. We handle the check-ins and the cleaning and the food ourselves most of the time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, or at least it feels that way to us. We don't have a big corporate manual to follow. We just treat people how we'd want to be treated if we were traveling somewhere new. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or a light bulb goes out, but we fix it as soon as we can. It’s just how it goes when you run an old building. We like meeting the people who stay with us. Everyone has a story to tell from their journey. We're just here to give them a place to sleep and a bit of a rest.
