We are R.C. Das Engineering Pvt. Limited. Our place is at Sp-70 on the III Main Road within the Ambattur Industrial Estate. It is a big area with lots of engineering firms, so it can be easy to get turned around if you aren't familiar with the layout. We have a decent-sized space here. The floor is mostly taken up by machines and raw materials waiting to be used. It gets pretty loud during the day when everything is running at once. We do a lot of heavy work. The grease on the floor is hard to get off, no matter how much we scrub. We’ve been operating out of Ambattur for years. The guys on the floor know their way around the equipment. We aren't the type to wear suits; usually, it's just work clothes that have seen better days. It is a practical environment. We focus on getting the engineering specs right. Sometimes the tea break is the best part of the morning. We talk about the projects or just the weather. It’s a tight-knit crew. The traffic on III Main Road is usually a mess during rush hour, so we try to get things shipped out early. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People just know where we are and what we do. We just keep the machines oiled and the work moving. It's a way of life for us.
