Rashtriya Book Agencies is located at Achal Tal in Panna Ganj and we are right opposite the Surya Hotel. It is a decent spot because people staying at the hotel often look over and see our sign. The area around Achal Tal can get pretty busy especially when there is something going on at the water but we just stay inside with the books. There is a specific smell to all the paper and ink that stays in the air here. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling and sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for without a bit of digging. Panna Ganj is a lively part of town but inside the agency it stays relatively quiet compared to the street noise. We do not have a polished showroom or anything like that. It is just stacks of books and people who know where things are kept. Opposite Surya Hotel is the easiest way to tell people where to go if they get lost. We have been doing this for a long time and we do not see any reason to change how we operate. It is a simple business at Rashtriya Book Agencies and we just take things one day at a time. The sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon so we usually keep the shade down. It is just our little corner of Panna Ganj and we are happy enough with it.
