Sagar Buckles Pravite Ltd.

We are located at D-49 and D-50 in Sector 1 of Talanagari. It is a twin-plot setup because we needed the extra space for the presses. We make buckles. Small ones, big ones, mostly for belts and bags. You wouldn't think there’s much to a buckle, but there is a lot of stamping and finishing involved. The sound of the machines is a constant rhythm. Thump, thump, all day long. We have bins full of metal pieces waiting to be polished. Talanagari is a good place for a factory like ours. We know the other shop owners on the street. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help each other out with a delivery. Our office is just a corner partitioned off with some plywood. It’s got a desk piled with orders and a phone that rings a lot. We don't have a receptionist. Whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. We wear work boots because there are always bits of metal on the floor. It’s a straightforward business. We get the metal sheets in, the machines stamp them out, and we pack them into sacks. We’ve been doing this for years now. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on making sure the buckles are strong and the finish is decent before they get sent out. We try to keep the scrap metal organized so it can be picked up for recycling every Saturday morning.
