We’ve been here at 589 Govind Nagar for quite a while now. Most people know the street as the Gurudwara Wali Gali, which makes it easier to find us if you're coming through Aligarh. It's a busy little spot in Uttar Pradesh. We usually open up early in the morning, and the day just goes by dealing with whatever comes through the door. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get the work done. Sometimes the traffic on the street gets a bit much, especially during the festival days, but that's just how it is living here. We handle things ourselves, mostly. It's just a small team of us. We try to keep things organized but you know how it goes when you're busy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’ve been too occupied to get around to that lately. Being near the Gurudwara means there’s always people moving about outside. It’s nice to be part of the local scene here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, though some things stay exactly the same. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day except Sundays. If you walk down the lane, you'll see our sign. It’s a practical setup we have, nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on the daily grind.
