Mini Appu Ghar

We've been in Aligarh for a good while now, right over in Manik Chowk. If you know where the Shani Dev Mandir is, we are just a short walk from there. It gets quite busy in this part of town, especially on the weekends, but we like the energy. Most days you’ll find us just keeping things running. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t really do anything fancy or corporate, it is just us and the local crowd that comes by. People usually find us when they are out shopping in the market area. The space isn't huge, but it does what it needs to do. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is where it should be for the next day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, but that’s just life in Manik Chowk. We have been here so long that the neighbors are more like friends. We don’t have some big philosophy about what we do. It is just a place for people to come and spend some time. We open up in the morning, stay through the day, and then close up when the market starts to quiet down. It’s honest work and we keep ourselves busy with the daily tasks. If you are passing by the temple, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a local spot that’s part of the neighborhood. We don't have many employees, just a few of us here keeping the place going and chatting with the visitors.
