Abduct Indian Garments Private Limited

Our spot is in Chatta Kalika Pur, out in Maheshtala. It’s in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The address is LP 9/44, and it’s right in the middle of the village and post office area. We make garments here. It’s a very local operation. We have folks from the nearby areas coming in to work every day. The sound of sewing machines is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We don't have a big corporate office in the city because we prefer being close to where the actual making happens. It's a bit dusty and loud sometimes, but that’s just how garment work is. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and have seen the area change. We don't do fancy marketing or anything like that. We just make the clothes and send them off. It's practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. Sometimes the monsoons make things a bit tricky with the roads getting flooded, but we manage to get things done. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of managers. It's just us and the workers. We keep it simple and focus on the daily tasks at hand. If you’re looking for us, we’re just down the road from the post office. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take pride in doing it without any extra fuss. We just stick to what we know and try to do right by everyone.
