Chick Zone

Our little spot is called Chick Zone and we are tucked away in Dodhpur, right in the Civil Lines area of Aligarh. You can find us pretty easily because we are quite close to Waris Maszid. It is a busy part of town with a lot of people moving around all the time. We aren’t a big fancy restaurant or anything like that. It is just a simple place where we cook chicken and serve it to anyone who stops by. Most of our customers are students from the university or people who live right here in the neighborhood. We open up the shutters every morning and start getting the kitchen ready. There is always a lot of chopping and cleaning to do before the first person walks in. My cousin helps me out with the orders when things get really hectic in the evenings. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the bikes and rickshaws, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It is just us doing the work every day. We try to keep the place decent and the food hot. Sometimes we run out of things if the day is busier than we expected. That is just how it goes with a small business. We like being part of the local community here in Aligarh. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us going.
