Spices Showroom

Spices Showroom is located down in the Alappuzha district, specifically in the Perungala area. We are right near Hotel Kalai, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The weather here is usually quite humid because of all the water around, so we have to be careful with how we store things. The showroom is a simple space where we keep all the different spices we have. It’s not a huge place, but it has everything we need. Most of our days are spent weighing out bags and talking to folks who stop by on their way past the hotel. Perungala is a quiet spot, but we get a decent amount of people coming through. You can hear the rain hitting the roof pretty hard during the monsoon season, which is actually quite a nice sound while you’re working. We don't have any big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure the jars are full and the floor is swept. Alappuzha is a beautiful place to live and work, even if it gets a bit muddy sometimes. We have been at this location near the hotel for a good while now. If you’re walking by and see the sign, that’s us. We just keep things basic and honest, which seems to work best for everyone involved in the spice trade around here.
