Sai Charan Rice

Sai Charan Rice is situated right on Thakazhy Road in Ambalapuzha. It is a pretty well-known road around here. We have been working with rice for quite some time now. The area is famous for its fields and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a place where we stock the rice and sell it. You can see the bags piled up from the street. The rain can be heavy in Ambalapuzha, so we have to be careful about the roof. We spend a lot of time moving things around to keep them dry. It is mostly me and a couple of guys working here. We don't use much technology, just a scale and some ledgers. People stop their bikes or cars on the road to grab a bag. We talk about the weather and the crops. It is a slow pace of life but we like it. The rice comes in and goes out. We don't do any big marketing. If the rice is okay, people come back. That is how it works for us. Thakazhy Road gets busy during the temple festivals. We see a lot of faces then. It is just a regular local business. We keep things simple and honest. Most days we are just happy to be working in this part of town.
