Mookambika Granites

We are based out of Kayippuram, right on Jana Sakthi Road. If you are heading towards Post-Muhamma, you’ll likely pass us. Mookambika Granites is where we spend our days. It’s a local spot where we keep our granite supplies. The area is pretty nice, though it can get quite damp during the rainy season. We have to be careful with the stone then. Most of our work involves moving these heavy granite slabs around. It's not easy on the back, but we've been doing it for a long time. We don't have a big team or a fancy building. It’s mostly just us working on Jana Sakthi Road, cutting stone and helping people who stop by. A lot of folks from around Muhamma come to us when they need something for their kitchen or a floor. We show them what we’ve got in the yard. Some days are slow and we just tidy up, while other days everyone seems to show up at once. We don’t do much advertising; people usually just know we are here because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. The granite comes in different colors and patterns, and we try to keep a decent variety so there is something for everyone. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep working and hope the weather stays clear for the deliveries. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy most weeks.
