C K Foods is right at Punnakunnu Junction. If you’re traveling through Alipurduar or Mavelikkara, you might have passed us. It’s a lively spot where different roads meet, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. We started small, just handling basic food items, and we’re still pretty much in that same rhythm. The building isn't brand new; it has some stains on the walls and the floor is a bit worn from all the walking. We spend our days checking the stock and talking to the local suppliers who drop by. Sometimes the rain in this part of the country makes everything a bit damp, so we have to be careful with how we store things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the people who come to Punnakunnu Junction get what they need without any fuss. The staff here are mostly local guys who know everyone in the village. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we do get busy around the holidays. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting by the front desk, probably drinking tea or checking a ledger. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way. It works for us and it’s been working for years now.
