Shitalgawande

We are over here in Akola, specifically on Swamini Gorakshan Road. It’s a pretty busy part of town especially being near the New Power House. People usually find us by looking for that landmark because the street names can get a bit confusing for folks who aren't from around here. Shitalgawande is basically a local operation and we try to keep things straightforward. There isn't much flash to the place. We have been at this location for a bit now and the neighbors are mostly other small shops and residences. Usually, you’ll see the power house workers walking by during lunch. The building we are in is older but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. Sometimes the traffic on Gorakshan Road gets backed up in the evenings, which makes it a little noisy, but that’s just life in this part of Akola. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything like that. It is just us working away. If you are heading down towards the power station, you’ll likely pass right by our door. We deal with people from the neighborhood mostly. It’s a simple setup. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. The walls are plain and we mostly focus on getting the work done. It’s a practical space. We keep our hours fairly regular but sometimes things run a bit late if there is a lot to finish up before we head home for the day.
