Pharma Producer Company

Out here in Bordi, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We are part of the Akot Tehsil in the Akola district. Pharma Producer Company is based right here in the village area. It’s a lot of open space and fields around us. We don’t have a big corporate office. It’s more of a practical building where we can get our work done without a lot of fuss. Most of us grew up around here or in the nearby towns. We know the local roads and the shortcuts. The weather in Akola can be really dry and hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the stock is kept cool. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and checking labels. We don’t have fancy machines to do everything for us. We rely on each other to get the job finished. Sometimes the transport trucks take a while to reach us because the roads aren't always great, especially after it rains. But we manage. We’ve been part of this community for a while. We talk to the farmers and the local shopkeepers every day. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do our business face-to-face or over the phone. It’s a honest way to earn a living in this part of Maharashtra. The nights are quiet here, which is a nice change from the daytime work.
