We have been at 3 Mankar Complex in Civil Lines for a good while now. Most people around the area know where to find us. It is just a regular shop where we keep the shelves stocked with what folks need for their health. Sometimes the traffic outside gets to be a bit much, but once you step inside, it stays quiet enough to think. We do not have any fancy glass displays or anything like that. It is mostly just rows of medicine boxes and some basic health supplies. We spend a lot of our time checking the stock and making sure things are not expiring on the shelf. My cousin helps out behind the counter on the busy afternoons when the local clinic lets out. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people coming in for their monthly prescriptions or just looking for a simple bandage. It gets quite hot in the summer because the shop faces the sun, so we keep the old fan running full blast. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the delivery boxes pile up near the back door before we can get to them. It is a job like any other, keeping track of papers and making sure the change is right in the till. People stop by to chat for a minute while they wait. We are not a big chain, just this one spot in the complex. It works for us.
