J.P. Cement

Our place, J.P. Cement, is located on Bypass Road in Geeta Nagar. We are quite close to the main bus stand in Akola. It’s a very busy area with a lot of traffic passing by all day. We mostly supply cement to local construction sites and smaller shops. The yard is usually full of trucks coming and going. We don’t have a big office, just a small cabin where we keep the records. It gets pretty loud with the buses and trucks nearby, but you get used to it. We’ve been here in Akola for some time. Being near the bypass makes it easier for the big trailers to drop off the loads. We work with a few different brands of cement depending on what people want. It’s a straightforward business. We wake up, open the gates, and start moving the stock. Some days are slower than others. When it rains, we have to be extra careful to keep everything dry. We aren’t trying to do anything fancy. We just want to make sure the builders get their supplies on time. Most of our customers are regulars from around Geeta Nagar. They know where to find us. We keep things pretty informal here. No uniforms or big meetings, just getting the work done. The coffee shop next door is where we usually get our lunch. It's a good spot for a business like ours.
