Our place is in Priwar Colony No 3, right on Round Road in Kaulkhed. If you know Akola, you know this part of town gets quite lively. Spices are what we do. The whole building usually smells like turmeric or chili powder, which sticks to your clothes. It’s a family-run kind of thing, even though we have the private limited tag. We spend most of our time grinding and packing. The machines are a bit old and they make a lot of noise. We have to shout to hear each other sometimes. It’s not a sterile laboratory; it’s a working spice mill. There’s dust everywhere, and we wear masks to keep from sneezing all day. Our address in Kaulkhed is 444004. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just sell to the local shops and anyone who walks in. People know us for being honest about what’s in the bag. We don't add fillers or anything like that. It’s just the raw stuff cleaned and ground up. Sometimes the bags don't look perfectly sealed because we do a lot of it by hand. We aren't trying to win any design awards. We just want to make sure the spices are fresh. It’s hard work and your hands are always stained orange by the end of the shift.
