Our company, Colorkode Services Private Limited, is based in Akola. Specifically, we are in Flat No F3 of Pingle Apartment in Ramdas Peth. Akola gets incredibly hot in the summer, so our main concern is usually keeping the fans and the AC running so the computers don't overheat. Ramdas Peth is a busy area, but our building is tucked away just enough that it’s not too noisy. The office is really just a flat that we’ve filled with desks and chairs. We don't have any fancy artwork on the walls or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some packets of tea. We spend a lot of time in this small space. Since it’s a flat, it has a bathroom and a small balcony where some of us go to take phone calls. It’s a very straightforward environment. We don't have big meetings with fancy presentations. We usually just huddle around one monitor and talk about what needs to be fixed. Being in Akola means we aren't part of the big city buzz, but that suits us fine. We have everything we need right here in F3. The neighbors in Pingle Apartment are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. We try to be quiet so we don't bother them. It’s a simple life for a small company, and we’re just focusing on getting through our daily task list one by one.
