Kreation Point

We are set up in the Old City area of Akola. Our place, Kreation Point, is right opposite Shashavt Gum Industries and the Bank of India branch in the GIDC. Working in a GIDC area means there is always something going on nearby, whether it’s a truck unloading or people heading into the bank. The heat in Akola can get pretty intense, especially in the middle of the day, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. Our office is a bit small and we’ve got stuff piled up on the shelves. It’s a mix of design work and keeping track of orders. The neighbor industries, like the gum factory, give the air a specific kind of smell that you just get used to after a week. We have a few old fans that squeak a bit, but they keep the air moving. We don't really have a reception desk or anything formal. If someone walks in, they just talk to whoever is closest to the door. Most of our clients are local folks from around the Old City who know where to find us. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to get the details right on whatever we are making. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but we like being in this part of town. The commute isn't too bad if you avoid the main roads during peak hours. It's just a regular local business doing what we do.
