Balgandharva Kala Academy (Opc) Private Limited is located out in the Akola Rural area. Specifically, we are at Bhaurad, care of Shri Shankar B Shinde. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which actually suits what we do here. Our focus is on the arts, as the name suggests. Being in a rural part of 444001 means we have a different pace of life compared to the big city centers. We teach traditional arts and keep the local culture alive through our classes. It isn’t a massive institution, just a dedicated space where people can practice and learn. The building is part of the local landscape in Bhaurad. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to teaching the sessions. There are no fancy brochures here, just real people who care about art and music. We chose this spot because it feels right for a Kala Academy. The community around here is quite supportive, and we often have locals stopping by to see what the students are working on. It’s a modest operation, really. We spend our afternoons and evenings with the students, making sure they understand the basics. It’s hard work, but it feels good to keep these traditions going in our part of Maharashtra. We don't use a lot of technology, just the tools needed for the craft. It is a quiet place to learn.
