Our school is based in Dalmia House, right on Kholeswar Road in Akola City. It’s a fairly central location, so it’s easy for everyone to find us. Despite the name, we are very much a local school that serves the families living here in Akola. The building itself has been around for some time, and it has that older, solid feel to it. We use the rooms for different classes, and while they aren't massive, they fit the students comfortably enough. We have the usual blackboards and wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have a huge staff, just a dedicated group of teachers who show up every day to get through the lessons. There isn't a lot of extra space for big gardens, but we have a small courtyard where the kids gather for assembly in the mornings. It can get quite hot in Akola during the summer months, so we make sure the fans are always working. We don't use any fancy teaching methods or high-tech screens; we mostly stick to the books and writing in notebooks. It's a practical way of learning that has worked for us so far. Parents often drop by to check on their children's progress, and we usually just chat with them in the hallway or the small office. It’s a busy, unpretentious place where we just focus on the daily task of teaching. We’ve had some of the same teachers for years, so there’s a lot of familiar faces when you walk through the door.
