Yunis General Store

Yunis General Store is found on Arai Road in Kishangarh. It’s a straightforward shop where we sell things that families nearby need for their daily lives. We have been here for a while and the location on Arai Road means we get a mix of local neighbors and people just passing through Kishangarh. The store isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes and jars. We sell things like tea, sugar, matches, and different types of bottled drinks. I usually open the shop early in the morning after I’ve had my breakfast. It’s a one-man show most of the time, so if I have to step out for a minute, I have to ask the neighbor to keep an eye on things. The road outside is always busy with the sound of horns and engines. We don't have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums all day. I try to keep the place organized, but with so many small items like pens, batteries, and candies, it can get a bit cluttered. It’s a practical business. I don't go for anything fancy or try to look like a big city store. It’s just a place where you can get a cold soda or a bag of salt without any trouble. I enjoy the daily routine of opening up, greeting the regulars, and closing the shutters when the sun goes down. It’s a decent way to earn a living.
