Yadvi Marbles

Down here at Yadvi Marbles, we’ve got our yard set up near the Makrana Choraha in Madanganj. It’s a busy part of Kishangarh, especially with all the stone moving through here every day. We’ve been operating out of this post for a while now. It isn't a fancy operation, just a lot of heavy lifting and checking the slabs that come in. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, moving pieces around so people can see the grain and the colors clearly. We get a lot of locals and people from the surrounding taluka stopping by because we are right near the crossroads. Sometimes the dust from the road gets on everything, so we’re always splashing a bit of water on the marble to show how it really looks. We don't have a website or any big marketing stuff. We just talk to people when they show up. If someone needs marble for a floor or a counter, we show them what's in the current stock. The inventory changes depending on what we can get from the quarries nearby. It’s hard work, and the stones are heavy, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just try to be fair and let the stone speak for itself when folks come to visit us. It is a noisy area but we like being where the action is near the choraha.
